Summary:
Our manager position is ideal for candidates looking for a family friendly environment, home by 10 or 11 each night, manage the front of house and general operations, and have every Sunday off!
Responsibilities:
Oversees all aspects of front of the house service and related operations including:
budgeting, cost control, regulating sales, inventory, staffing, paperwork, certifications Ensures all standards and laws are strictly adhered to in accordance with Thanksgiving Point policies and State and Federal laws.
Responsible for creating and leading an exceptional service team of 20-25 bussers, servers, hostesses, assistant manager and supervisors, through scheduling, training, performance evaluations, monitoring, updating, and maintaining high service standards procedures.
Ensures that dining spaces are clean, always organized and in proper working order.
Oversee and be responsible for the set-up, confirmation, and organization of restaurant reservations - assist in creating databases and create customer profiles.
Work closely with Executive Chef and Food Services Director on food concepts (menus) and guest feedback.
Exhibit job and product knowledge sufficient to provide guests with accurate information in all aspects of food, service, and property information.
Upholds Thanksgiving Point's Mission, Values and policies Other duties as assigned by Director of Food & Beverage.
Requirements:
Great written and oral communicator with strong interpersonal skills Detail oriented, ability to manage time effectively and work independently Exceptional customer service and positive attitude Basic computer skills and knowledge High school diploma At least one year management experience At least two years' experience in a restaurant setting Pass a background check EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
