1K a year Director of Global Events Younique is looking for an experienced Director of Events to lead our Global Events Team and be a strategic business partner to the executive leadership team.
The position:
The Director of Events is responsible for creating a strategic events plan that works across all markets to drive sales and create a rewarding and engaging experience for Younique Presenters.
This role will oversee the Global Events team and be responsible for all planning, coordination, and budget management for global events.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in executing all field facing events, including large conventions, leadership events and retreats, sales training events, incentive trips, a luxury incentive trip, service projects, and more.
Experience with both in-person and virtual events is a must.
The ideal candidate will manage a team of 3 employees and report to the VP of Presenter Experience.
They will need to work efficiently and effectively with multiple internal stakeholders to define objectives, create project plans, secure resources, and oversee quality control and execution on all projects.
The ability to engage with and provide support to Younique field leaders is also required.

Responsibilities:
Manage the annual calendar, oversee contracting and event strategy for each global event Negotiate contracts with all events related vendors Be adept at handling high-level budgets Work cross functionally with communications, training, recognition, operations, legal, finance, and our executive team to cohesively plan and execute all aspects of events, keeping in constant communication Partner with market staff to support them on international events Work with the executive team to provide accurate reports on event success, registration, attendance, and ROI Review surveys and data from past events to reate strategies to improve event experience for sales field Partner with marketing and communication to plan communications to increase event success Assist team with creating event swag and rewards for Presenters Assist team to create agendas and overall plan for event execution Partner with AV and production teams, create event show flows and manage agendas and schedules Partner with training to plan content for events Hire and vet all event speakers, entertainers, etc and facilitate contract negotiations with the legal team Meet regularly with internal departments to coordinate product launch plans, marketing and communication strategies, operations, development, warehouse distributers and field leadership team.
Working closely with Business Perks & Recognition team to create qualifications for all qualifying events Assist the team in packing and shipping all goods needed for all events including swag, product, etc.
We are looking for a candidate that:
Has strong verbal and written communication skills Can handle highly stressful situations with ease Can manage different personality types effectively in difficult and highly stressful circumstances Can be efficient at multi-tasking and can manage planning multiple events at the same time Has experience in managing high-level budgets Is flexible and can change flow with changes easily Will be available to work extended hours prior and post event Travel up to 30% Is creative and can execute on making quick changes prior to events Is a strong leader and will help train the team to become proficient in all event tasks.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
