Role DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Android TV Developer to join our team on a contract basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality Android TV applications that deliver an exceptional user experience.
You will work closely with our product and design teams to implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure compatibility across various Android TV devices.
QualificationsDevelop and maintain Android TV applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
o Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define requirements and implement new features.
o Optimize performance and ensure compatibility across different Android TV devices and versions.
o Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and maintain code quality standards.
o Stay up-to-date with the latest Android TV development trends, tools, and best practices.
Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
o Proven experience developing and shipping Android applications, with a focus on Android TV.
o Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java programming languages.
o Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and related tools.
o Knowledge of Android TV user interface guidelines and best practices.
o Familiarity with streaming media protocols (e.
g.
, HLS, DASH) and DRM technologies is a plus.
o Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
