This candidate will be responsible for helping create aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces, selecting furniture, fabrics, and accessories.
The Interior Decorator should have excellent communication skills, customer service skills and the ability to bring a vision to life.
The compensation will be discussed upon interview.
An Interior Decorator typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
Create design plans that reflects wanted style and needs Understand the visions, preferences, and requirements for all projects Determine goals and requirements for projects Responsible for optimizing the use of space- creating layouts, ensuring traffic flow, and achieving desired functionality.
Responsible for selecting furniture and decor that fit the design scheme and are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Install and arrange all decorations Manage all budgets and schedules Develop all decorative plans and select all decorative elements Coordinate will all contractors, painters, and other professionals involved in the project.
Selecting all accessories, lighting and artwork to enhance the overall design.
Must be up to date with the latest trends, materials and technologies.
Minimum of 5 years experience in all phases of interior decorating Must be creative and have excellent interpersonal skills Strong visualization skills and detail oriented Computer literate Reliability, problem solving, and flexibility Interior decorator certification High school diploma or equivalent Job Type:
