Job Description
Fashionphile is currently looking for an experienced web developer. This is a full-time in-house position, not contract nor freelance type of work. Even though we are headquartered in Southern California, this opportunity is for North Utah County.
Overview:
Fashionphile is a California based (with tech in Utah), medium sized online retail company, with a custom built platform that controls all aspects of our business. We have a great company that continues to grow each year. We would like to make dramatic improvements that ensure that system and workflows will be able to handle our continued growth. This platform is run on MYSQL, PHP, javascript and various APIs. Currently we are looking to make serious updates throughout the system to upgrade core functionality. We will be overhauling our checkout systems, adding additional features to improve internal workflow efficiency, making security updates, and tightening down any existing bugs.
Unique Specialties We Are Looking for
Demonstrate vast prior experience in e-commerce checkout gateways and payment systems
Integrating payment APIs
Knowledge in best practices for creating a secure platform
Basic Requirements
Experience with PHP development.
Experience with MySQL database design, and writing database queries.
Development experience with JavaScript.
Proficiency with HTML/CSS, including cross-browser compatibility
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
Organizational skills
Attention to detail
Strong work ethic
Ability to work on a deadline

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
