Mid/Senior Level PHP & WordPress Developer
One on One Marketing is currently seeking a mid- to senior-level web developer with WordPress and responsive web development experience. This person will be part of a dedicated consumer product engineering team and will work closely with UX designers and product managers to build world-class content-rich websites and web applications. The ideal candidate is detailed-oriented, hardworking, a team player, and is committed to learning the latest technologies.
DUTIES
Develop highly customized, content-rich websites using WordPress.
Develop innovative solutions for stable, high volume web-based applications using agile software development principles and enterprise application integration standards.
Be committed to continual learning through team and pair programming disciplines, participating in online education opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations.
Use Jira to document progress and status on work assignments and communicate these updates during daily standups.
Provide complete technical documentation, code comments, and readable code that is properly stored in a version control system.
Be committed to improving our core products and services.
Be an advocate of rapid development principles; short iterative development cycles with frequent feedback loops.
QUALIFICATIONS
3
years of professional experience.
Understanding of WordPress APIs and experience developing plugins and themes.
Ability to work in a team environment that makes pixel-perfect web sites and applications that meet the design requirements and that integrate with high availability back-end enterprise systems.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, scalable code across many large and small applications.
Preferred: Developed or contributed to open source projects.
