An Instrumentation Technician at IM Flash must have a good background and foundation in the technical skills associated with assigned duties. This requires a good basic understanding of the configuration and function of assigned systems, equipment, and tasks. This individual is expected to perform routine tasks independently and to receive general instructions on newly-assigned tasks. The Instrumentation Technician may assist new members of the group in learning routines and performing tasks.
Responsibilities :
Proficiency in using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, ect.)
Intermediate to complex verbal and written communication skills

As a Team Member at IMFT you are required to follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable city, state, and federal regulations.
Intermediate to complex knowledge of electrical theory fundamentals, control circuits, pneumatic controls, pumping systems, HVAC & Cleanroom air handling systems, boilers, chillers, compressors, PLCs, direct digital controls, acid & ammonia scrubbers, VOC abatement systems, general exhaust systems, Ultra Pure Water systems, Industrial Waste Water systems, etc.
Intermediate to complex ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, one-line drawings, P&IDs, and schematic diagrams.
Perform basic, intermediate & some complex repairs, perform routine replacement of instrumentation equipment such as, but not limited to, pressure, level, flow, and temperature transmitters.
Operate and interpret standard electrical and electronic diagnostic equipment to include DMMS, Handheld Calibrators, etc.
Create and maintain system documentation.
Perform intermediate to complex preventive and corrective maintenance on all industrial control equipment. Have an understanding of typical principles of process variable measurements (temperature, flow, level, pressure, etc.).
Be able to possess a basic understanding of PLCs and SCADA Systems
Education and Experience
A four year combination of education, training, and experience. The following may be used to satisfy this requirement:
Completion of a registered apprenticeship in an instrumentation, electronics, or electrical program.
A.A.S. or equivalent academic degree in a related technology field.
Military training or four years of in-trade experience.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to properly lift at least 40 lbs.
Must be able to use ladders of all sizes.
Must be able to wear safety toed boots (over the ankle), safety glasses, hearing protection (ear plugs or muffs), full face respirator, etc
Must be able to operate manlifts (Scissor, Boom).
All team members must meet minimum criminal background standards as established by IMFT and the Department of Homeland SecurityEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
