Shift Engineers are responsible for equipment uptime, preventative maintenance, programming, and tool troubleshooting. Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Completing all required safety training and ensure all work is conducted in accordance with IM Flash safety policies
Addressing SPC process and defect related issues
Dispositioning OOC product in a timely and quality driven manner
Ensuring that all SWRs are processed correctly and in a timely manner
Assisting 1st shift engineering and vendors with long-term down equipment
Updating Supervisors on the status of all process-related issues and long-term downs
Minimizing variability and increasing tool availability
Providing content for, and submitting updates for controlled documentation
Partnering with other areas or departments to solve issues
Supporting and maintaining TPM and 6S activities
Assuming additional duties and projects as directed by the supervisor
Working any shift and rotate shifts as required
Basic understanding of semiconductor equipment and processes
Intermediate understanding of SPC
Intermediate PC skills and MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Proven ability to communicate and present effectively
Advanced data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills
Basic understanding of physics, area chemistry and algebraic concepts
Demonstrated analytical problem solving skills
Proven time management, organization, and prioritization skills
Proven ability to troubleshoot issues related to process flows
Proven ability to follow procedures and work with minimal supervision
Proven ability in multi-tasking complex projects
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex problems and address root causes
Education and
Experience: BS in an engineering-related field or semiconductor engineer position for 1 year.
All Team members must meet minimum criminal background standards as established by IMFT and the Department of Homeland Security.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
