Job Description
Civil Science, Inc. is looking to fill a full time Party Chief position immediately for our Lehi, Utah office. The Survey Party Chief will be responsible for conducting field survey activities that will include construction staking and boundary, topographic, control and as-built surveying on a wide variety of project types in Utah and Idaho. Projects will vary from land development, infrastructure, and highway design and build.

Responsibilities
High proficiency with the use of total station (conventional and robotic) and GPS (RTK, VRS and static) instruments is required.
Experience with Trimble equipment (total station and GPS) is desired.
Experience with laser scanning instruments is a plus.
Experience with GPS data processing is a plus.
Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D is a plus.
Strong experience in construction staking for roadway, site development, and infrastructure is required.
Strong experience on boundary, topographic and control surveys is required.
Experience with linear projects such as power transmission lines is a plus.
A High School diploma or equivalent plus 4 years relevant experience is preferred.
College training or LS is a plus.
Both a background check and driving record review are required. A valid driver's license is a must.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
