Engineering Data Base Clerk
Job Description
Engineering Data Base Clerk - consists of updating a data base to reflect factory installed conditions. The factory has tens-of-thousands of connections to operating tools. These connections need to be accurately reflected in a continuously changing data base. The work requires attention to detail and strong understanding and capability of data bases and excel. Programming and data base creation skills are not required. Ability to walk and climb stairs and ladders on a daily basis coupled with computer skills are essential core job requirements.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will quickly learn the data base in terms of purpose and understanding. As the factory changes the data base needs to be updated to reflect current and future configurations. Ownership of the data is a critical factory to minimize construction costs and planning for the factory. The successful candidate will work with a team to continually update and improve the data.
Qualifications
Preferably an associates degree in engineering technology reflects an aptitude for this position. Proven skills in the manufacturing or the construction industry with data management and technical project execution required. The job can be repetitive but will provide the opportunity to continually learn and develop. Proficiency will take years but expect productive understanding in a few short months.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
