Software Engineer
The challenge The AEM Assets software stack is a deeply extensible platform allowing our clients to fully integrate it into there business. It is used by many hundreds of clients to deeply integrate into the work processes. The Dynamic Media/Scene7 service is an Adobe hosted SaaS that provides enterprises with the ability to integrate dynamic image and video solutions into many hundreds of retail and manufacturers web sites. Both work together to provide site development, asset management, integration with external system as well as all that dynamic media allows for deep and compelling experiences to experience products from the web sites. The environment is a highly agile and dynamic environment. The customer is king here and everything you will do will lead to success for our clients. You will need to be incredibly nimble to be a lead core contributing developer in order to support our business goals by delivering high quality products that meet our clients need. What you ll do Quickly dive into the platforms, learning the architectures and methodologies used, starting with smaller localized features and moving onto being the achitect for growth and extensibility. Deliver high quality software solutions for Enterprise domain Follow coding standards, code reviews, and provide automated tests Work closely and seamlessly with various engineering teams, product management, experience design and quality engineering to ensure we deliver great compelling solutions At ease with ambiguity and able to adapt and change direction/technologies to leverage new learnings Be passionate and help improve the availability, performance, scalability and security of the product Ensure strong emphasis on monitoring and metrics for analyzing health and usage of features Lead and participate in production deployment activities of features and troubleshoot and resolve issues brought up from the production environment Constantly evaluate new technologies, and help incorporate them into the technology stack What we're looking for B.S. or above degree in Computer Science or related technical field 10
years of experience developing applications using Java 7
years of experience in delivering high-quality scalable software releases with strong expertise in developing web applications and scalable web service stacks Experience with SaaS solutions with a DevOps role Experience with AWS or Azure clouds Experience with agile/scrum development Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills Good knowledge of Enterprise Content Management and Adobe Experience Manager technology stack Deep knowledge of distributed systems and security aspects Self-starter and a fast learner Creative thinker and problem solver At Adobe, you will be immersed in an exceptional work environment that is recognized throughout the world on Best Companies lists.
