Sr. Staff Data Engineer at SunRun in Lehi, UT
Overview:
The Sunrun Data & Analytics team is looking for an experienced data engineer to support the growing demands of a data driven company. As a member of this team, you will be key in acquiring, modeling and publishing data to key decision makers across the company.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with product management and business analytic teams to identify data needs. Acquire data from source systems as needed using Fivetran, Informatica, Python, Kafka or similar tools. Create scalable, documented and tested data models across different functional areas. Support internal technologies teams with modeling skills and access to data.
Qualifications:

years experience developing data models on cloud data platforms like Snowflake and BigQuery Expert SQL Skills Experience building DBT models including complex Jinja macros Excellent understanding of semi-structured data and NoSQL platforms. Experience using SAAS data replicators like Fivetran, Stitch, Striim. Experiencing implementing Airflow data pipeline orchestration 3
years coding experience with Python, Javascript, etc Experience working with Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services Familiar with event-driven and streaming architectures, using tools like Kafka. $100K -- $150K
