General Requirements:
Monitor behaviors and maintain records of problems and progress Help with daily tasks and teach our individuals more manageable tasks (cleaning, laundry, cooking, etc.
) Help provide support to our individuals so they can achieve the goals they want to pursue.
Assist with medication administration and maintain the medication administration record.
Perform personal care tasks (basic hygiene and grooming, toileting, bathing, etc.
) Ensure individuals safety and maintain a safe environment.
Willingness to go out into the community to join in on activities (hikes, movies, bowling, swimming, etc.
) General
Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check Must be 18 years of age or older Flexible work schedule Must be able and willing to lift over 50 pounds.
Capable of communicating English well in both verbal and written form Have good judgment and work well in crisis situations Have a positive attitude Aptitude to laugh Patience and understand What you will gain:
Experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities (autism, brain injury, down syndrome, etc.
) Caregiving skills Knowledge of medical, psychological, and social supports.
Positive Behavior supports, relationship-building, and communication skills.
NORTH EASTERN SERVICES WILL PROVIDE ALL TRAINING NEEDED! Pay is $15 to $16 an hour DOE.
