Summary of Responsibilities The mission of the Project Designer at Bright Homes is to create innovative, high-quality, and client-centric architectural and interior design solutions that enhance the living experience, uphold the company's brand identity, and contribute to the efficient and successful delivery of residential projects.
The Project Designer will also work to enhance Bright Home's reputation as a top remodeler in Utah and Salt Lake Counties.
They will be responsible for the continual delivery of innovative and market-leading design concepts.
These should demonstrate a strong understanding of current design trends, the local real estate market, and the specific needs of Bright Homes' clientele.
The designs should not only be visually appealing but also functional, efficient, and sustainable.
Essential Functions Manage multiple projects from initial design to project handoff.
Ability to work closely with clients and provide astute design guidance as necessary.
Stay up to date on new design offerings and industry trends.
Travel as necessary to meet with clients and walk the build site with the Project Manager once construction begins.
Ensure efficient delivery of design projects.
This includes meeting all design-related deadlines and ensuring a smooth transition from the design phase to the construction phase.
Remain as a resource throughout the design, budget, and construction phases of each project.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required Bachelor's Degree or related work experience in Interior Design.
Experience using Chief Architect or Revit preferred.
Reliable vehicle for visits to construction sites and meetings with clients.
Strong computer and technology skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, but still focus on a single task.
A customer-centric personality.
Compensation $50,000 - $60,000 base salary range commensurate on experience.
Mileage reimbursement.
