Configuration Quality Assurance Analyst

Responsibilities:
Review and analyze software configurations to ensure compliance with established specifications and standards. Collaborate with development and deployment teams to understand configuration requirements and changes. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify the accuracy of configurations. Conduct thorough testing of configuration changes to identify and address any discrepancies or issues. Create and maintain detailed documentation of configuration specifications, test plans, and results. Track and report on configuration changes, issues, and resolutions. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and system administrators, to ensure seamless integration of configurations. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance configuration management practices. Propose and implement best practices for configuration quality assurance.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in a software or technology environment such as software development, systems analysis, or database administration. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or similar role, with a focus on configuration management. Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially in conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Strong understanding of software development life cycle and configuration management principles. Proficiency in using configuration management tools and version control systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
