Procurement Analyst Intern
Onsite in Lehi, UT. Position Overview:
The indirect procurement team is seeking a contract worker at our Lehi, Utah location. This role will report to a Category Manager at the corporate offices in Lehi. The office provides an excellent and dynamic work environment situated on the 5th floor, recognized as the C-Suite level. The team is energetic and enjoys the views of the mountains, workout facilities, and pickle ball courts when they are not actively working. Fun Environment for an Intern looking for a professional experience for the summer months. Work within the team to manage various projects for supplier data and sourcing events. They will be responsible for categorizing suppliers by commodity, organizing supplier information, aligning all supplier bases to strategic initiatives, and helping to build a living database that stores all relative information. Other special supplier projects will be assigned in accordance to various category managers' needs. Key Skills:
Google Suite experience and Mid-level Excel experience Reporting, Dashboarding and Contract familiarity Able to work with little supervision Candidates must have the ability to communicate clearly, written or verbal and at all times Responsibilities In this role the intern will work internally to manage various projects for supplier data and sourcing events They will be responsible for categorizing suppliers by commodity, organizing supplier information, aligning all supplier base to strategic initiatives, and helping to build a living database that stores all relative information Other special supplier projects will be assigned in accordance to managing the supplier data and sourcing products and services The individual will oversee contract management support tasks, which includes transferring contracts from one CLM system to another, handling document preparation and supporting administrative duties. Compose SLA's and additional vendor success criteria in support of Category Managers as they collaborate executive leadership. Support Category Managers in various bid-related tasks, encompassing bid formulation, vendor identification, outreach, and ensuring NDA compliance. Researches vendors to determine best options and make recommendations by evaluating total cost and quality of indirect materials and services. Finds creative cost-outs in purchasing policies and with vendor processes. Provides direction and support to teams for initiatives critical to the business. Ensures tactical execution of purchasing activities to meet routine business needs and identifies and leverages company-wide spend opportunities. Able to help manage a calendar for themselves and the category managers they support. Manages processes critical to the efficient functioning of the Source-to-Pay process. Specific types of experience or skills (required) Google Suite experience and Mid-level Excel experience Reporting and Dashboarding and Contract familiarity PC based applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Finder, etc. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
