Quality Control/Sales
Applicant will primarily be responsible for the sampling and testing of aggregate products at various plant locations. The position also includes reporting results directly to plant operators and daily inspection of stockpile. The applicant needs strong customer service skills, which includes working and dealing with customers regarding material specs. We are seeking a motivated self-starter who is detail oriented and organized. This position could also have the potential to work into sales.
Qualifications:
The applicant should have knowledge/experience in sample retrieval, sieve analysis or any other relevant testing experience related to the aggregate industry. (we are willing to train the right person to learn the sampling and testing)
Ability to read/interpret and produce testing reports.
Excellent customer service skills
Excel knowledge is required
Knowledge on Microsoft office suite is required
UDOT WAQT certifications are not required but are preferred
Ability to lift 50-100 lbs several times a day
Current driver's license
High School diploma or equivalent
Current or past MSHA certification
