Experienced Web Developer
We are currently looking for an experienced web developer to join our development team at our Thanksgiving Point location. This is a full-time position, not contract or freelance work.
Responsibilities:
Design databases for storing information so it can be retrieved efficiently
Create web interfaces for databases
Build custom WordPress themes (This is not a graphic design position, but you will need to implement others' designs.)
Program custom WordPress plug-ins to add specific functionality
Perform routine maintenance and upgrades for existing websites
Experience with PHP development.
Experience with MySQL database design, and writing database queries.
Development experience with JavaScript.
Proficiency with HTML/CSS, including cross-browser compatibility
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
Organizational skills
Attention to detail
Strong work ethic
Ability to work on a deadline
Not necessary but a plus:
Experience with WordPress development, including custom themes and plug-ins
