Summary of Job Function
Researches and analyzes business opportunities, consistent with the organization's long range and strategic plans with a specific focus on international growth opportunities. Identifies and investigates emerging market and niche opportunities. Oversees market analysis, monitors competitive activity, and identifies needs relative to organization's capabilities and alignment. Provides leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence (e.g. financial feasibility studies, market research), and implementing of strategic business objectives. Implements business plans and creatively solves design, financial, marketing, or administrative problems. Maintains knowledge of new trends and products within assigned areas. May assist with special studies in areas such as operational effectiveness, capacity utilization, cost containment, etc. Developing key partnerships and collaborating with business leaders internally and externally.
Essential Functions
1. Leads and directs the initiation and implementation of business development projects, recommends the strategic direction and makes changes as needed. Specific focus on the extension of ProPay's current products and services into new international markets.
2. Oversees, leads and/or organizes work with product managers, sales, clients, relationship management teams, consultants, and internal and external partners to define growth strategies, product marketing positioning objectives, pricing strategies, partnerships, communications, industry events, and/or strategies for products and services. Works on a variety of product or service initiatives that may involve products that are in development which have huge revenue potential and meets strategic initiatives.
3. Ensures product and/or service requirements are gathered in support of product development for typical opportunity above $10M in potential revenue.
4. Leads and oversees the identification of specific clients to market existing and new products, formulates strategy, and delivers presentations of new products and services. Identifies new market opportunities.
5. Leads and oversees the negotiation with vendors and/or clients during process design and implementation of existing or new products and/or services. Creates pricing models to sell product and generate revenue.
6. Monitors market and reviews competitor information and research. Based on competitor analysis, makes recommendation regarding options of developing capability from either forming vendor partnerships, buying the capability through an acquisition or merger, or building the capability in-house.
7. Monitors performance across multiple platforms across the company and its affiliates. Based on divisional performance, recommends process improvements to executive leadership team.
8. Leads and is responsible for communication and partnership with Executives to identify and evaluate ongoing corporate growth opportunities internationally.
9. Leads and oversees the development of business cases for new products and solutions to serve as inputs to decision-making, prioritization, pricing, and client value proposition.
10. Leads and directs work functions dealing directly with Sales and Relationship Management, as well as other appropriate entities, such as clients and partners to educate TSYS team members on product opportunities, selling points, competitive landscape, and proposition. Contacts and communicates directly with clients directly.

Barriers to entry such as technical committee and senior management review exist at this level.
Extensive knowledge of international business practices in the acquiring industry. Specific industry knowledge of China, Mexico and European acquiring helpful.
Experience in negotiation of complex agreements in international locations
JOB COMPLEXITY
Works on issue that impacts design/selling success or address future concepts, products, or technologies. Creates formal networks with key decision makers and serves as external spokesperson for the organization with key accounts, agencies, partners, vendors, and sales prospects.
SUPERVISION Exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
Education and/or Experience
Four year college degree and ten or more years professional experience or 12 or more years professional experience is required. Previous management experience is required for leadership and previous experience managing teams or projects is required for matrix management. Some appropriate TSYS experience is preferred. Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
