NetDocuments is looking for a Search Engineer / Solr Developer who will serve as a developer for NetDocuments, Search and Analytics Platform and will contribute to ongoing search engine development and maintenance and advice on best practices and approaches for Search technology.

Responsibilities:
Ongoing development and maintenance for NetDocuments Search and Analytics Platform including new feature requests, bug fixes and ongoing maintenance.
Specialized work in one or more of these areas: SOLR, Elastic Search.
Connect with technical community as appropriate to find best technical solutions.
Identify new technical options and alternatives.
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience Required:
Required: 5
years of software development experience in a professional environment
Required: Solid Java experience
Nice to have:2
years of Solr / Elastic Search and Lucene deployment / development experience
Skills required:
Superior trouble shooting and problem solving skills in a complex distributed computing environment.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Data Science / Information Retrieval
Masters degree in Computer Science with specialization in Data Mining /Data Science / Information Retrieval is preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
