Truck Driver
Job Description
Commercial truck driver needed with doubles/triples endorsements, Class A CDL holder, clean MVR, must be 21 years or older for insurance purposes. Immediate need for hauling rock & soil products from our gravel pit to job-sites in Salt Lake and Utah Counties, as well as other construction materials.
Shift is daily, Monday through Friday, weekends off. 40 hour work weeks with opportunity for overtime if desired. We work year round.
Responsibilities
Driver is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of company trucks, adjusting brakes, and checking fluid levels. Paperwork is required on a daily basis so applicants are required to fill out paperwork; daily load sheets, delivery sheets, truck inspections, etc. in legible English.
We have a zero tolerance policy towards drugs & alcohol, drivers along with all other employees are subject to random testing through the company wide pool drawn monthly. A pre-employment screening is required for all applicants given a conditional offer of hire.
Qualifications
Class A CDL
At least 21 years of age
Clean MVR for last 3 years
Doubles/Triples endorsement on CDL
Previous hauling of construction materials a plus but not required.
