Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining high performance levels, maximum uptime and overall integrity of internal and production systems
Participate in the ongoing review of system logs to identify system/application/security-related issues
Advanced Linux and Windows administration
Contribute operational recommendations for corporate and production infrastructure
VMware/vCenter administration tasks
System analysis, troubleshooting and development tasks
Provide ongoing status and track work relating to projects and various tasks
Responsible for incident response as needed to correct system failures and participate in on-call rotation
Provide advice, training and technical support for various projects
Identify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans
Look for ways to harden environment and keep ahead of emerging threats
Participate in and contribute to the evaluation, design, installation and maintenance of network, systems and security systems
Participate in and contribute to risk management, business continuity management, policy review and compliance audits
Look for ways to improve and streamline processes and procedures
Perform regular scripting work as needed (shell scripting, Python, etc.)
Operational database
Responsibilities:
configuration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, backups, high availability etc.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Strong problem solving skills

years experience in the IT industry
Team player with positive attitude
Self-motivated and effective time management skills
Interpersonal communication skills and emotional maturity
Knowledge of information security design concepts and principles
