IT Technician

You will have the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge to assist internal users with computer problems.
Coordinate investigations to resolve information system issues.
Conducts research to understand explain and resolve technology issues.
Communicate updates to users that have been or may be affected by a problem.
Follow up with users after problems have been resolved.
Utilizes help desk tracking software to present recommendations and improvements for user systems.
Initiates onboarding procedures for new users into the system.
Ensures response times are quick and effective to appropriately resolve requests.
Coordinates referrals to technical professional or service personnel depending on the repair training service or software issue.
Basic computer hardware knowledge with the Ability to troubleshoot software issues with Microsoft client operating systems.
Ability to troubleshoot laptop and desktop hardware issues.
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory user accounts and management is preferred.
Experience with Microsoft and email management in a corporate environment.
Distribution Lists Shared Mailboxes Mail Forwarding etc Understanding of Virtual computing and various hypervisors HyperV VMWare Excellent customer service skills and experience with ticketing systems and documenting troubleshooting and customer interactions Ability to troubleshoot common Microsoft productivity applications such as Word Excel PowerPoint One Note.
Understanding of Online productivity tools such as SharePoint Teams OneDrive.
Awareness of IT Service Management and ITIL framework.
Awareness of Information Security and common issues email phishing Threat Protection Software social engineering.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
