1975 Fender Jazz Bass MIJ (Reissue 1996) for sale in Lehi, UT
I purchased this bass brand new in 1996. This is the famous JB-75 model. It has been amazing and I've played countless shows with it. Sounds great and has that Japanese build quality that surpasses any modern instrument. I'm not in a hurry to sell but I don't play this one as often as I should. These basses don't come up very often and are fantastic player instruments. Stays in tune, smooth to play, solid feel. Lightweight Ash body in Natural finish with a maple neck and fretboard with the solid block inlays. Bound neck. The fit and finish on Fender Japan instruments is better than any US-made ones of the same vintage. The fretwork, neck pocket tightness, and every other detail are executed with pinpoint precision. It has the larger vintage-style tuners, not the ones with smaller plates that Fender Japan sometimes used. This bass exudes a very classic, vintage look.
